Voting Instruction Form for Articles of Continuance
Friday, 19 July 2013

The second AGM mailing contains a copy of the Articles of Continuance along with a Voting Instruction Form. We are asking members to review the Articles of Continuance and indicate their approval by filling out and signing the 2 nd Proxy Form .

You do not sign the Articles of Continuance, which is an Industry Canada form. Once the Articles of Continuance are approved by the AGM, they will be signed by the NRPC Treasurer (Ed Carew) and submitted to Industry Canada.

We apologize for not including these documents in the first mailing. Initially, we did not realize Industry Canada needed members to vote on the content of this form in addition to the bylaws.

Only the filled-out, signed proxy forms need to be returned . You can keep all other material sent to you as reference material. If you have not already returned the proxy form for votes 1, 2 and 3, you can return the proxy form for votes 1, 2 and 3 and the proxy form for vote 4 in the same return envelope. If however, you have already returned the proxy form for votes 1, 2 and 3 we ask that you also return the proxy form for vote 4 in the pre-addressed envelope.

James Bagnall's book on Nortel
Saturday, 11 May 2013
James Bagnall, a business reporter with the Ottawa Citizen who has written extensively on the Nortel insolvency, has published a book on the last days of Nortel titled "100 Days: The rush to judgment that killed Nortel" .  No other reporter has his depth of knowledge, kept the Nortel case in the news, or constantly referenced the plight of pensioners.  For the information of members, we have included the link to an excerpt of the book and a link to the Amazon site.  The book should also be available through your public library.
